2010 Summits have gained weight!

After the 2009 marketing information was released ski doo decided to change a few things on the chassis and some of the components on the sled in the name of improving the sled, some of which added weight (driveshaft, seat, chassis strengthening, standard powdermax track) then in 2010 they improved on the sled again and added a few more pounds (steel a-arm, longer center shock, bigger seat) so when they released the marketing material this year they had to include both years weight gains. I am confident that the 2010 sleds will be an improvement over this past years sleds which were reletively problem free (some recoil issues, leaky oil tanks, etc). I like, and according to the internet chatter, lots of other people will like the easier stearing, easier sidehilling, better shock valving, less ski pressure and no more rear suspension sag that the ski doo is claiming. Last year they claimed that the clutch would have more belt pressure (better belt life), the roller bushings would not wear out nearly as fast (better belt life), the motor mounts would be solid (better belt life) and the clutch would be less sensitive to changes in track load (better performance), and less rear suspension sag. Everything except the reduced rear suspension sag was true which gives me confidence that the promises Doo has made for this year are going to be true. 2010 Summit X 163'' in copper is going to be my ride next year and I am PUMPED!
