2010 ski-doo, real pics!

i think they went a little to crazy on the colors. blue, yellow, black, white, red, orange holy crap! i agree, lets see a new clutch design or different airboxes or a 4 year warranty. that would get alot more people excited.

Do they still have the TRA???

I like YDPC's idea...can we buy the sled minus the TRA and a grand????

Looks like the side angle of the white and red XP could be showing a new air intake?? What do you guys think??

I wondered what that was too, but then the orange one looks just like the '09intake. If '08 to '09 is any indication, then my guess is '09 to '10 they will have solved a few of the little issues, and will also create a few more new ones, and still have all the same big ones. Clutch will be unchanged.

4 stroke XP mountain sled... good start, hope the hp is up and the weight is down. I would really like to have the dependability that goes with a 4 stroke.

More than likely they won't be focused on any more weight reductions on a 1 year old design that is already +80lbs lighter than the competition. The focus will be on the power and delivery system to the track. If they can get to 150ish HP with a solid clutch then they will sell a bunch of them. Then 2 more years and you will see a turbo/supercharger to boost sales again.

100 lbs? are you serious? a stock nytro 153 is 550 dry

My turbo nytro 162 weighed in at 595 wet

you need to quit smoking or get better scales and have them calibrated, look up my post from last year with my nytro on the scale with no fuel out of the box.

What 2 strokes are not reliable?? Thats a bunch of crap, I know guys that have 5000km on 2 stroke motors and they are still running strong. Most of the people defending 4-strokes to the bitter end are the owners of them seems like your trying to justify your purchase. Stock 4-strokes are heavy pigs.

I see more and more turbos going on 2-strokes than 4-strokes. Sorry guys 2 strokes are better mountain sleds. That wont change, Yammi has been making 4-strokes for years and they still are not even close to the out of the box performance of the 2 stroker.

The stock M series, Summits, and Dragon RMK's make the 4 stroke sleds look silly. :beer;

Easy man some people got very sencetive when you call almighty 4 stroker heavy pig.Don't ruin their mood they made a smart move to buy their sleds.:eek: Who knows maybe sometime in next century we will all ride 250lb 4stroke sleds :beer;:beer;:beer;:beer; but for present time I will stick with 2smoke.:)

its not 2-stroke vs. 4stroke. Its what you ridden that gives you the justification to want stock/mod/turbo or the right to b#tch about all three

I had four sleds last year

2006 stock rev 151 loved it

a 2003 1/2 rev 144 stock then bored to an 860 the long tracked to 151 with a cat 900 hooper 1035 preditor kit 215 horse loved it

2004 121 440 rev snowcross that i made an 860 then put on 136 in track and twin turboed 250 horse loved it

and a stock 2008 xp 154 that got 60 mile hr track speed stock loved it

I have riden and contimplated buying cabon fiber sleds almost all the turbo sleds and big bores out there!!!

So what F#ck do you think I dont know or understand about this issue
sled are my passion and so is horse power and light wieght and handling

I will ride the sh*t out of anthing you put me on put!!!!
I have mounds of time and money dealing with all of it and believe me anyone that says there is not alot of work and time and money weather its stock /big bores or turbo is an stupid they all have issues that piss poeple off

so dont get on my a$$ cuz I am on a 4 stoke that in my opinion and in considering what I have owned and riden out there, that this 4-tech is the $hit and open a whole new level in the game.
It is easy to ride in all conditions and with a rider that has some brains and balls make this is a dangerous sled to compete with
and the stockers will like this sled and the big bore and turbo guy will too!!
Not everyone but I thought this was the SKI-DOO forum for poeple who like doo,

not for busting peoples balls just cuz they are excited or this sled?

same goes for you!!!!

*how many stock sleds pull big avy chuts?
none cuz they cant!!!!

*2-stock turbo how many kits are as reliable as four stroke?
I mean gas money time tuning the thing in do you even have one?

* do you even realize how long they have been tring to make a turbo 2-stroke work( thank god for efi )and be easy to own any operate? more than a decade

yami's are very different 4-stroke than the 4 stroke doos

that why when this 4-tech turboed gets out there on the hill and in the trees watch out :face-icon-small-win
