2010 Nytro stock track with turbo

I know the stock track isn't the best and I should put on a challenger extreme. The ol' bank acct is pretty low this year with buying the new sled and boosting it. Will the stock track get me through the year or will it be a total pos with it?

It'll ride OK but a friend of mine tore his 2010 track in half with a MCX 180 kit which ended up costing more than a new track to repair. Sell the 2010 track and get the extreme. Food for thought.

The stocker is pretty bad, I'd look for an Attack 20 or a challenger take of from an Arctic cat. Both come in a 162, and can be found in good shape for under $200

Yeah, there area LOT better options then the stocker.. you could pick up a 162 stock takeoff cat track as everyone has a boner for powderclaws... I had a maverick on my sled and the thing just felt like it had NO pull.. just spun across the snow. The sensation of the turbo spooling and yanking out of your hands was minimal with the maverick.. and I was only upgrading to a beat up attack 20.. so that says something.

I agree with the others but also more track is going to cause more ski lift if your still running the stock skid i ran the stock track last year and did fine with it but will be putting on an extreme before the snow hits im running impulse stand alone kit 16psi

Hey if yours goes bad I got one for you that I just took off my 2010 MTX cuz I put an Ulmer 210hp turbo on it with a 2.5 camo extreme.

Mine seemed to have held up.....but I am replacing it anyways. For me its kinda like having a Ferrari with walmart tires....

If you have the 2010 162, the track is different than the 09/08. Stiffer durometer and a lot better for boosted application. It will run fine until you are ready to upgrade in a year or so.
Enjoy the 4 stroke world :)

Thx RS. I can't wait to go for the first rip! If I rake in the OT at work again this winter I could upgrade halfway through the season.
We will see.

New stock takeoffs sell quickly on here. I did my first nytro swap by selling here and buying a very lightly used one. Cost 175 plus shipping and it was the best 175 I could spend. I rode mine with the old track one day on low boost and I knew it was a waste of time. The newer ones are a little better but honestly you spent a lot of money on a turbo you need a track that is up to the test. If you sell your takeoff now you will do better on the sale anyway
