2010 models

lol my brothers friend jimmy said his friend said that kawi has been working on a 2000cc turboed four stroke sled making over 600hp stock and the dry weight is gonna be under 500lbs

My current sled is done, complete, nothing more to do to it, so I'm looking to snow check a new sled this spring. Does anyone have any "concrete" insight into what the big four manufactures are putting out next year? Is Yami going to update the Apex platform into something a little lighter? Is Cat going to move to something other than the M chassis? Is Poo going to offer something larger than an 800? Is Doo going to have their 1200 in a mountain chassis? I live a ways away from the dealer shows and test rides, so I will be basing alot of my decision off of reports and first hand knowledge of forum members.

I've decided that I'm budgeting $500 more for my 900 RMK _PERIOD_, so if I can't make the damned thing work right this year I'm snow-checking what will most likley be a new Yamaha this spring and I'll probably just cut my losses and run on the 900 RMK. If you count labor costs I'm unfortunatley into that POS roughtly $17,000 as it stands right now and it doesn't even have a power adder or run quite right :o

The phazer was just 2-250 cc dirt bike motors right. It would be sweet if they used 2-450 motors. That would be my guess.

I heard they have played with that and with all the counter balancing they needed on those 2 - 450's it just got too heavy. Too similar to the Nytro too I would think.

As the owner of 4 Polaris sleds, i wish they would just fix the crap they have out there and make them actually work right without all of the problems.

I will never buy a new to the market sled again from anyone. Yep, I'm bitter!!

Haven't heard anything about Poo.

Heard Yammi is coming out with a new Apex design......170-180hp range supercharged (Exciter??????) possibly based somewhat off the Waverunner

Heard Ski-doo will have a factory turbo mountain sled and trail sled

Heard both stories of Cat having the factory turbo M8 but also that its a deal through Boondocker. Also heard there will be a mountain sled off the TZ1 model.

Who knows........find out in a few weeks

Burandt edition

This sled is being put together by boondocker and a few select dealers,Arctic cat i believe has nothing to do with it,no warranty at all. They have on Boondockers website, check it out.

I know a few guys that are in the same situation as you. Man that 900 turned out to be a real dog and as the sporting world would call it a "bust". I am glad I was broke and in college when that thing came out because I sure wanted one. Let that 900 be a lesson- at the time polaris was top shelf now I am not so sure.

Back to painted tunnels again?
Thought we got rid of those about 9 years ago.

This should be the next big thing, carbon fiber...wooo. Painted tunnels were a pain, i was wanting a bare aluminum tunnel on my 2000 700 xcsp so bad back in the day when the edges came out.
