2010 m8 vs summit 800

Thread Rating
5.00 star(s)
riding here i see tracks making a great deal of differences for some guys and the ttype of snow we generally have here .riding in many groups thru the season we find that the variable is more in that style of track used and now with more suspensions advancing we seee this as another contributor to what and who gets around on any given day .
for the most part the sleds are all close and the biggest variable is the guy running the throttle ,generally.
in most motorized sports it comes down to the final drive , tire rubber , lug patterns , so much more in todays sleds .

same style of video we see with just something as simple as the track to tight and it gives bragging rites to someone.

m8 sounds like it has a higher fun factor this year than last years, someone has to , seems they share , polaris has there 800 doing well here , doo xp shines and the surprising one showing up more and more here is the turbo yammies .
snow forcast in 60 days and counting down .

I ride skidoo but thought the 09 M8 was a sweet sled. I think its cool that they are trying to improve on an already great sled. I hope it rocks even more. It's not much fun at the top alone.:eek::beer;:beer;

bout time cat makes something to compete with everyone else. haha.....

.....any sled these days can compete with each other, its more about who can dial their sled in the best...and knowing how to ride helps a ton to hahah..

How can you compare mtn. sleds when all you are doing is dragging up a hill on less than decent snow. Throw about 3 feet of powder on that same hill and then compare.

ok time to voice my personal expirience and i must say every thing can change with differences in riders, sled to sled even if the same brand and model and snow conditions. but we own a 09 xp 154x and its a ok sled but comparied to the new 2010 cat sp m8 i think the cat is a nice sled to ride and will out pull the doo considering i have rode the sleds both on the same hill on the same day one after the other and the cat seamed to pull harder. now i have nothing against doo considering i ride a 05 rev but i would perfer the new cat to the xp, also my dad rode the demo cat one day for our dealer one day with like 2-3ft of fresh powder and theres a reasion the new m8sp is going to be here in 2-10days
just my expirence guys and buy the way we ride right around 6000ft
