2010 M8 Standars vs Sno Pro

What would the pros and cons be of having each one? Im looking at either a standard or Sno Pro. Are the fox floats really that great? If I got the standard I would have them install the telescoping handle bars.

I am not impressed with the stock Fox. I did the Zero Pros and had Holz revalve them. The stock Fox looks the same but they use a different valve, shim stack, etc.

So the standard is $500 less than the LE and I think the handle bars are $160 so are we better off with the standard and installing the bars? It saves $300. Will the cables work, or do we need to get new ones of them also?

STD m8

I've been looking at the same issues:

1. after 4 years of running floats on my M's.......not sure I want them again.....anyway still got a set on my old M8 if I thought I needed them.

2. Standard M bars are junk have to go......... the zip up and down riser has to go, don't think I could stand the loosey goosey rattling and the height is not right for me anyway.

3. deluxe gauges are strickly a bling thing.

4 what else is there on the Sno Pro thats an advantage? still going to have to gut the hood, redo the air intake, vent sidepanels, gear it down, change out helix setup, new handlebars and risers, new clutch spring, weights???, change skiis.......might still need a boss seat..........then I'd have a sled just like I'm riding...........less 5000 miles.

bouncing this back up

How about the difference between these two and the LE. Besides the hood, it there anything on the LE that isn't on the standard or sno pro? Forgot to add, what about the HCR, just a different track?

hcr is a good sled,,,,,,,,,,,,,the wide front end though........made narrower front for my M sleds and like that, not sure I would want to go back to an 03 firecat front end.

I went with the stocker and saved some money..I did a coilover mod on the rear float cause it performed like a dead goat..Front suspension stock was pretty good and performed well with gen 1 simmons. Diamond S hood, lightweight can,,,not the freekin overly loud ones that trigger avalanches and cause deafness...boondocker and the Koso egt was a must.

Tell them you dont want the hood,can/ y pipe and rear fox float..lol and replace all those and you ushould be good for a huge discount..lol
