Has anyone dialed in the air shock pressure on their '10 M8? Curious what people are ending up with compared to their body weight.

wow that seems like some pretty high air pressures.
wish i could get my rear float to hold air long enough to see what pressure works best. Brand new 2010 0 miles, loaded it into the trailer and drove 2 hours. Shock went from 110 to 50. Pumped it up to 125, an hour of riding later it was down to 60 and sacked out. Pumped it back up to 130 and by time i got back to the trailer it was down again. Pulled it from the skid, pumped it up to 100 and stuck it in water, leaking from the shaft seals.
Sucked for the first ride on a $12,000 machine. Got to put a whole 15 miles on after driving 105 miles to ride.![]()
I checked mine yesterday before we went riding, after reading about all the guys on here having problems with thiers. How often do you guys check the pressure? noticed my rear shock is down to 90 lbs after a couple rides.
fastfreddy16 said:my dealer told me 50# in the front 2 and 75# on the skid? Who's right here? I haven't really checked it our but what are you guys using to check the pressures with? Is it a schrader valve where you screw on a gauge the insert the pressure through that or different.....also, using regular air or are you using nitrogen in your shocks?
Thanks in advance...........

I'm thinking I still have to much ski pressure. I think a lot of that poor trail ride comes from the normal cat suspension.
