2010 M8 Push Turbo PG attitude settings

Had a major burn down in minutes on the PTO side after installation of Push PG kit. Running 7-8psi at 2500'. O2 readings were fine but was told that it was likely due to the extra timing that comes on when the power valves start to open in combination with running for too long at that throttle position (not suppose to cruise with a turbo). So everything is back together and I don't want this to happen again. There is no information for starting baseline specs on the attitude box and attitude says to call Push. I can not reach Ken to discuss. I want to make certain that the initial settings in the box are correct and then tune from there. I am looking for someone with tuning experience on the attitude box with Push or any turbo on a 2010 M8. The box was shipped to me as follows:
G=1.5
Y=1
R=3.5
G/B=3.5
R/B=5

What are people seeing as the best settings for use around 7500'? Any suggestions or experience on what happened with my burn-down? Is anyone running their attitude box with one setup for running the trail to the alpine and another for once you get to the backcountry? If not is it going to be important to majorly vary the throttle on the way up.

Any help is appreciated as I am heading back out in 2 days...bringing 2 sleds this time.

Setting seem low for 2500ft. As you know green bottom end/cruise so you might need to bump it up I am aslo finding that if I keep my yellow with in a half of green its working best.

I just spoke with Ken and he suggested leaving my Green at 1.5 but moving the Yellow to 3 or even 4. This would put a 2.5-3.0 point spread. If I was to run the green any higher I am sure I would load up.

fuel pressure is on the lower side of where to be, but still ok, you will prolly run a lil higher numbers on the box then others will running say 42lbs. i would bump the yellow up a couple and see what happens and i wouldnt be afraid to add one or two to the green/blue also.

did it burn down around the 5000 rpm mark or 6-7? or?

if it was my sled, i would take all of the light at 5.5 and start from there. blue green is 90% of your tuning. remember this, it is way better for you to start pig rich than lean....you will not seeze a pig rich mixture.

I was not running it when it went down but was told mid range so about 5500-6000 guessing.

After more discussion with Ken I am going with the following as a starting point.

38psi
6-7psi boost
G=1.5
Y=4
R=5
G/B=7
R/B=5

I appreciate the feedback. Keep em coming.

pics Please

I would like see so as What kind of burn down.

This is my 2 Cents I am still breaking mine in and am running them below 8G rpms. Will turn boost up when I get motor broke in but at 7600 RPM mine is pulling my arms off.

Running EGT but I am not seeing 1100 yet.

Fuel PSI

I have not touched the box. all I did was turn fuel down to 36 PSI and runs clean now.

Ken built the kit he would know the settings. I have been trying to keep them close because per attitudes instruction they say (This mode will always be equal to or less then the green setting.

did u do anything to lower the compression on your 2010 m8,change the head maybe?also i c u have a pump gas kit,but were u running pump gas when it happened?2500' is pretty low for pump.might have to take real easy going up trail to the alpine.and like you said,try'n stay out of 1 throttle position for too long.

Mcatcrazy
