2010 m8 HCR

I have an 09 HCR. I chose one over the standard for a few reasons. I liked the Boss Seat, which doesn't come on the 2010 model but the stock one is probably just as good anyway.

Other than the seat, I like the titanium springs on the front shocks as well as the clutch. I like the responsiveness of springs on my shocks and find them more reliable than air only. A titanium clutch spring will give a more consistent result throughout the day, no matter how hot it gets.

Whether you feel those items are worth the money, only you can answer. As I get older, I have less and less time to tinker with things so getting a stock setup with what I like is just the way I choose to go.

I took my 2010 HCR out a few weeks ago and really like the way it handled. It maneuvers like a dream and the new motor feels very strong. Obviously I didn't get to test it to its true potential yet but I've got an 09 M1000 that I plan on using on those bottomless powder days. I rode with an HRC last winter (2009) and he hung right in there with the M's. On the bottomless powder days he wasn't the highest on the hill until a line was broke but once he had a line he broke out of the highmark everytime. It was amazing in the trees and if there was any kind of base it REALLY hooked up!! If you like to leave the ground its a must!! I personally really like the HCR and plan on riding it more than my M1000 this winter..
