i think snowchecking in this economy would be crazy. now that you know what they can sell them for, oh yeah but they only make $100 on each one...Sorry boy's. Like racinstation said new place to sit. {looks small and cool}. New graghics and looks like green is back. Still know nothing about motor or chassis updates. There was a interesting picture of something new in the mountain accessory section but It could be just a missplaced picture by arctic cat. If not there maybe something very different in the mountains next year. I personally think it was a missed placed picture. That is all till march 2.
The manufacturers and dealers have been backed into a corner and there is no way out . They have lowered there prices on the 09 so low that the guy's that bought at the beginning of the year got screwed . So who want to step up for next year . And just think how much your trade is worth , thank's alot for that . I guess there is just alittle more than a $100.00 mark up . I don't care if you make money I hope you do ,just don't tell me you only make $100 on one . Sorry got a little off the subject .

I wouldn't expect anything much for the 6, it isn't their size of most concern. They don't even have a snopro in the 6, don't hold your breath for an HCR.
No dealer could be in business on a $100 markup, they would have to sell a sled to every man woman and child to keep their shop going. It's lame that they told you that but if you believed it....
Another thing, the guys that think they got screwed because they bought a new sled earlier than later need to rethink the matter. No one held a gun to your head when you made the initial purchase, intrinsically you must have had value of the sled at X dollars (when you bought the sled at X dollars you should have been able to afford it- if not shame on you), to say hey 4 months later they were cheaper and you got screwed is a bit off base, as far as our economy and what our poor dealers/manufacturers are going through at the moment- who would have known and hey lets be thankful for once and hope things improve.
I just want pics and info. Like all the 2010 cat threads, this one is also useless. Everybody knew a new seat was in order and a couple more ponies. Please save us the time and not post till the pics are out.
I bought an 09, and sure I wish I could have got if for what they are going for now but I have had the best season of my life because I sold my 07 and got the 09. The 09 M's are the best sled ever built IMHO.

The market dictates what a dealer can make on a sled, I made just over $100on the only Cat I was able to sell so far this year. Now I am paying interest on the 15 remaining 09's I have in stock. Deeper discounts have come via factory rebates. Dealerships HAVE been closing all around us this year, that's a clue that they are not making enough for sure!! We went $100k in the hole last year, probably will go at least that again this year. Keep that in mind when you are beating up your local dealer on pricing.
There was a time not to long ago that you could trade sled in for $600 a year then it went to $1000 and then $1500 then $2000 now it is about $3000 . When the dealers start's selling a $10500 sled for $8700 just 2 months later that kill's sales for next year . Because what do you think that used sled is worth next year when they still have new 09's for that price or less . Look at the 07 , 08 m1000's . Like I said for the dealer it is a lose lose situation . And no I didn't believe the $100 comment , who would so why do they say it all it dose is make you mad .

well since he doesn't want to say anything, M-niner said it pretty good. New seat, BNG, 800 HO is what i know so far. No turbo mountain either just a 144" F series
