I'm looking to find out which gas stations in GP sell premium that contains no ethanol. I know this doesnt really fit with this thread, but i dont want to know about opinions, fuel prices, and ethanol issues from people to the south. I just want to know about here in Grande Prairie

Was out Wednesday. There's not enough snow yet. Some places have up to 3 feet of powder with no base. There's not enough snow on the trail to groom it yet either. I ended up hitting a hidden rock and bending my tunnel, bulkhead and driveshaft on my M7. Was a slow ride out

Kakwa falls groomer sponsor program and trail passes

Kakwa falls groomer sponsor program and trail passes
Hey everyone just a quick reminder to make sure we all support our local Swan City Snowmobile Club by purchasing Trail passes for Kakwa.
Also New this year they have a Groomer sponsor program. It costs $200 and you get a sticker that goes onto your sled camp. 100% of it from what I understand goes to the groomer which is much needed. We all love riding the groomed trails but it seems it is soo hard to collect any funds to help this program. We all can afford to ride (Sled, Fuel, Etc etc) Whats $70 to help keep this groomed trail possible.

**From the Swan City Snowmobile Club website**

Len Frieze has started the groomer sponsorship program. This a collection of $200.00 from each sled camp at Kakwa. If you donate, you will receive a decal to be put on you camp stating you support the Groomer Sponsorship Program. So please be prepared to help out. We may ask dealerships to help out selling, as well.

I'm told the trail going in isn't open yet, and it's being watched very closely. They are just looking for an excuse to shut Kakwa down. If this is true then please stay out till it's open.. Going in before will only get it shut down.

Who told you this? Trail should have opened on Dec 1 like every other time. Can anyone else chime in?

For anyone that has been out, whats the snow like? Was thinking about going out on Sat the 18th to check on camp and get a bit of a ride in.

Friend of mine from GP. He rides Kakwa alot. But not sure where he got it from. Sounds odd to me too. But he said they had kept it close and were watching everybody very carefully incase someone still went in? Any other info would be good yes.

Tell your freind nobodys watching him, it must be either his ego or he's just paranoid. BC's open on Dec 1, like every other year, like the sign says. So enough with the worry posts already. The groomer can't go into BC till 1 metre of snow is on the ground and that isn't yet. We need more snow.
