It was nice today. Maybe a little breezy but we need to dry things out again!!!

local weather station has said to look for changes coming around thanksgiving. Lets hope it is a pile snow:pray:

wow steelman that is the longest post i have ever seen!still farming not quite ready for snow yet. :face-icon-small-hap

We got our first snow last night. We had about 2" around home and other parts seen around 4". Melting fast. Half the front yard at the house here has melted. They are saying 40's here for the next week.

I'll be darned, we saw a picture from one of our kids that live in Crescent on FB showing snow. Thought maybe it was from last year.........:D

We had about three inches. Enough for my daughter to tear it up a little bit.

Just looked at the local weather station and it does not look good for the next 2-weeks here in SW Iowa for snow. They are saying that next chance will be around x-mas. Really would like to get some miles on the new sled before the first part of Feb when go to the Black Hills. May have to trailer to somewhere else here in Iowa and ride.

Any of our other Iowa Sledders have anything, please let us now. Would like to find a few people from different parts to give us all updates in there area. Would like to find someone in the NW, NE, Central and SE.

I live in the nw coner by sioux falls and we got 6 inches on monday. It is wind blown and drifted. Took the xp for a test run I think i have to detune.

no snow here yet. :face-icon-small-sad

I hear ya Maddog. We are still grass here. I hate when it is cold and no snow on the ground. If there is not going to be snow on the ground, they I would just have it warm and then I can ride the Harley.

Snowing like crazy right now. We are looking at 3-5 inches tonight. Problem is the wind is blowing 34 mph and we have gusts to 50 mph here in Oakland, IA. We are in a Blizzard Warning.

5-plus here, hope I get my yamaha running. I am almost finish. should get it done by monday and go out ride then sell it.

Snow?

Anyone got enough snow (and a riding area) to break in a couple of Mountain sleds that had to be rebuilt this summer? Heading out west over new year's and don't really want to spend the first day or two breaking them in. The closer to Omaha the better.

Thanks for any help! Looking to do this on Saturday or Sunday this weekend
