2009 X-Games XIVVIVXI: Aspen

I'll be there for the snowmobiling events anyway.

All I really care to see in Tucker kickin' @$$ in SnoCross!! But, I am looking forward to Speed & Style and the other events as well.

We weren't even aware this was going on when we set the dates for our colorado trip, but its a nice bonus. Probably going to show up to see the men's snowboard finals. Don't know if we'll hang around to watch it all or go ride ourselves, depends on conditions I suppose.

Gonna be there.....we will be spectating and I do believe helping out some with Colorado Sled Style!!!!

I would much rather go riding than go to Aspen for the games. For that matter I'd rather do just about anything than go to Aspen period. I can see the events much better on the tube and I hate crowds. To each his own I guess.

I'm with ya on that one. I'd rather ride than sit around motionless in the cold watching somebody else ride. Besides last year's Games sucked. All of the peeps that I thought would put on a great show and compete well failed hard!

There is no other place I would rather be in colorado than in Aspen!!!

That valley has the best resorts in colorado, gets more snow than anywhere other than the wolf creek area, it is just a bit too far for the masses of front rangers to over run (best part), and the riding/bc in that area is better -wait far better - than most areas in colorado that I have ever been.... Not to mention great food and no crowds!!! Also I get to visit the grandma and rest of the family when I go over there!

As for the x games I like to see the cat guys do well and they usually do... Tucker and Brant have pretty much ruled a few or most years in the past.. Amazing when you look at the 2x and 3x budget of the skidoo and polaris crews. I only got to see the new cat race sled in production and it will be cool to see it on the snow..

I am a fan and am pulling to see green on the podium but we will see how it goes...

hey, i posted this on another thread but thought i would tack it up here too. would those of you riding the area during the week mind if 2 more tagged along for a day or 2? we are both experienced mountain riders so we wont slow you down, would just like to see some new area while out there.
