Ski Doo web site showing a couple of new sleds/motors. First, a 1200 cc four stroke triple that is light (509 lbs. in a trail variant). I would guess that this motor will show up in a mountain variant too. I can imagine that the turbo/supercharger guys are already licking their chops over this one.

Second, a 600 E-Tec motor is shown in a trail sled that is slightly over 400 lbs. Good fuel and oil mileage, light weight and good power!

No mention of the 800 class or a new 1000 two stroke but maybe that is coming later.

The new 1200 is rated at 130hp, same as the Nytro, but the Doo has more torque.

Should have more hp and torque if it's a 10% bigger motor. Wonder how much hp and torque the Nytro would have if Yami punched it out to a 1200

Remember, according to 4 stroke guys cc size has nothing to do with it. Its all in the power ratings, no matter what cc's it takes to make that power. Maybe they would rather start comparing cc to cc. Nevermind, Yammi guys only like to compare things so it puts them at an advantage.

Well IF Doo can take a PIECE of Yammi's market, that would be almost typical as it seems to me that dealing in PIECES is what BRP has been about the last while.
If you buy one of their products, you then need to buy , a clutch , vents, lots of belts, lots of rings, pistons, crankshafts, jackshafts, flying nuns, new track, and a bunch more PIECES,.......... and if you do that, you'll have the best STOCK sled built.
I'm not sure if thats a sales philosophy that benefits us, the consumer.

I'm sure this has been covered at some point but I am curious.I have a supercharged 4 stroke Seadoo with 215hp, How would a supercharger work compared to a turbo on a 4 stoke sled?
