I want to know what everybody thinks of the 2009 Sinister goggles from 509. The guys I ride with all had 509 sinisters last year and were always complaining that they fogged too much. I'm just wondering if the 2009's are any better.

never had any fog issue with the old ones.. and still dont have any fog with the new ones...

Its pretty simple... THEY ARE MADE FOR SLEDDERS.. AND THEY WORK..

I have 2 pair and bought the wife a pair because they worked so good and never fogged on either of us.

Mine fogged up when stopped, like any other goggle I have tried. That being said I still think they are the best goggle I have tried for use in a motocross helmet. The hinged side piece keeps them tight to your face and the nose cover keeps your face warm. I put quick straps on mine and now have no fogging issues as I pull them off when stopped.

maybe it has something to do with the helmet or even the breath gaurd, but i couldn't stop mine from fogging up ended up putting my smiths back on which still fog up but not nearly as bad. love the lens though.

Love my 2 pairs. One has chrome clear lens and the other smoke polarized. My only complaint is that the polarized lens makes the left part of my gauge turn black and cloudy. Anyone else have this problem?

good goggle for the price but they are not the quality that Oakley A frames are. I keep a spare set of 509 in my backpack but may not use them once this year as the Oakleys are just about always fog frree.

love my 509's, but you can get any goggle to fog in the right situation. best thing I ever did was get a no-fog mask, but they can be a pain too.

Love them. I only fog when stopped and that only happens when I am stopped after riding hard and sweating or digging out. If my body temp is normal I don't even fog at a stop.

mine r good
worked better w/out the nose piece
to be honest I broke it taking it off - PITA to get on and off - make this easier next year Tom

The key is to first release the center mount, then undo each tab. 10 seconds to take on/off doing it this way.

Have done some riding with mine in snow and sunny conditions, from minus 28C to minus 4C and haven't had any issues with fogging, hopefully when the sun reappears again I'll get to test the polarized lenses

i like my 509s but they definitely fog up. seems like they fog up faster than my scotts. i find myself wearing the old ones more
