2009 SB 600 Gauges Resetting..Randomly HELP!!

Went to start my sled today and the gauges are randomly resetting & flickering. Sled seems to be running fine.

The idle is a little high 2400 rpms and seems it be a bit lower when in reverse 2000 rpms.

I plan to clean the chassis ground and look at the TPS settings. Also do you think my chassis relay is going out?

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Shows over half the bars.

Thanks for the replies. I had the hood off over the summer making it easier to work on the sled. Ill take a closer look at the harness and connector again.

I put a new rope on the recoil as well. Everything under the recoil looked clean. Maybe I should have checked the gap between the magnets when I had that removed..?

This is the first time ive started it since it was put away.... I had no problems with it last year.

Definitely sounds like VR to me. I'd look in to that before the high idle to help avoid ECU damage.

Cleaned the ground, cleaned all connections & added dielectirc grease...

I didnt see any worn wires or anything. Now it seems to be ok. Started it a few times. I guess the real test will be when it snows!

I did notice my voltage indicator is one bar from the top. Is that ok? I cant remember what it was running at last winter.

Thanks!

Yeah that's fine. Mine is the same. I'd run it and if you notice flickering or the bars drop down to like 1 or 2 then start looking again. Did you happen to check the capacitor connection as well?
