2009 Rmk 600 155 how many rpm wideopen?

Just wondering how many rpm it should turn wideopen. My guess is between 8000 to 8150 or so? Jus trying to get an idea cuz im not used to the new iq and cleanfire sleds yet. Thanks Ya'll Scott

My 600 is set up so that it mainly runs 8200-8300 down low on the flats. It will spike to around 8400-8500 for max on the recall. This works extremely well for when I get up higher and for climbing in the deep because it will still pull 8000-8100. Rips pretty good on these #'s. Now if Polaris would just fix my 800.....

Thanks. Mine maxed out at 8500 yesterday. But most the time it turns around 8300. I was thinking about slowing it down abit. Or maybe jus say forget it and race it. I dunno what i should do

I would see if you can find a dyno chart first. SLP has some for their pipes to show stock and with a pipe. This might help you understand where the power is made. If you over rev beyond peak power, it can often times drop the power off very quickly too. This may help you select your peak rpm.

Thanks guys. Yeah my six hauls. I like riding it cuz when i out climb bigger sleds then they ask what it is they dont beleive me. Cuz it doesent have any decals. it hit 8500 running on flat ground. about 8250 climbing hard.

Sounds like the rpms are pretty good.
