I took my new M8 out yesterday for a shakedown run. About a mile from the truck it started missing and running foul, at about 5 miles out it would hardly get out of its own way and wouldnt rev over 6000 rpm. I limped it back to the truck and had to pull it up on the trailer. It was flashing ECU 12 on the way back. I took it to the delaer I bought it from and they looked at it and tested the coils which tested good. They replaced the ECU as that sends the signals to the coils to fire. Has anyone had this happen to them? I am going to take it to the snow this morning and see how it is. If it is still foul they are going to give me a new sled and use this sled as a demo. My dealer is top notch and got right on it even though they were quite busy. I highly recomend Pacific Boatland in Vancouver, Washington if you are anywhere near thsi area.
