2009 M8 edge of track fraying

The track has 1/8 clearance were the rear skid bolts to tunnel. they put plastic strips inside the tunnel. Is there a way to gain more clearance or has someone thought of a fix for this?

Drop the track, air hammer rivets flat from the inside of the tunnel, hang track, torch off all the frays, don't light track on fire, send cat the bill for the fuc$$kin hassle and poor design on clearance or rivets used.....

I also removed the plastic strips while grinding down the rivots.

Shouldn't this be a warranty issue from cat or is it?

becareful you dont light the track on fire. ended up burnin a hole on my powerclaw

Just ride it. it will clearance itself while riding.
