2009 Denver Snow Show

Xtreme use to take up about a 1/3 of the venue :( A great loss to the colorado snowmobiling community.

Dave got ahold of them last week and Mindy answered the phone "Xtreme"

maybe they will get back into it somehow? The Castle Rock store is still sitting there with all the signage and everything. We can always hope!

Nothing special this year! Normal gear, smaller than normal (not the gear), Xtreme missing, boost seems the way to go if you have the money, couple of Boobies, didnt seem to be many deals inside, cool tractors, couple more boobies, tight jeans, blonde hair, five guys following like blood hounds, New XP still looks like a good ride, New M looks like the comfortable choice, carved a doughnut in the cafeteria area, cougar boobies with old grey hair dude, second look, sweet home made shirts with next years stupid statements, every 30min extreme video possible, elderly lady hoping you will come to Yellowstone but not really wanting You to be there (didnt check her out), Burandt signing poster (still cant believe he doesnt know who I am), snow jack guy will live forever, and have the same booth forever, Pimp in some slick alligator shoes (cause thats the way they roll), over priced Klim collection due to no competition, 1500.00 1985 polaris in the swapmeet (guess the price is due to antique status), 7500.00 07 M8 turbo in the swapmeet (not sure why but seems too low), I did have a good breakfast prior to going...., still thinking of those boobies (damn).

Pretty much sums it up. Oh, out 10 bucks toward the new sled!

Yeah, it just wasn't the same this year and it was a cluster outside just my $.02 i'm sure they will come up with something different next year if they have it.

Seems like it's time to move the show to a new location with better parking/swap meet. This is becoming more about the swap than the show anyway. It was a cluster out there today. National Western, Pepsi Center, JeffCo fairgrounds, Budweiser Events Center, lots of good choices around.

Yep, the parking sucks! I got there at 9:10 and there was very little room left. Stuff parked all over the place.

Was cold and snowed all day - what a change from the typical 85deg heat of Denver!

Lots of new aftermarket vendors - I hope they did well.
A few manufacturer displays, obvious lack of Xtreme.
No Ginsu or ShamWow-SlapChop dude. (I think he's in jail)

Swapmeet was painfully disorganized.
I don't mind paying $10 to participate, but fencing off 1/2 the parking lot was simply stupid. Took 30min to get in because you had to fill out some useless form.

Sold lots of parts; didn't seem like many sleds were sold, maybe a few.
Last minute, found a nice Mini-Rev for my son!!! Yeeha!

Time to get this out of this show operator's hands and have CSA or someone else with a clue put it together.

Decent crowds regardless!

The swap meet at 9am looked like they were herd'n cats into a freak'n pen. Total lack of organization and why is it that 15 trucks will all go down a row only to find out you need to turn around with a trailer. Good lord get out of your truck and do a bit of recon

I thought the boobies were dissappointing. I've never been impressed with the boobies at the snowshow. The outdoor expo was much better... SEMA is out of control

enough of the Boobie talk... dont you remember those ones??. No not the ones with a beard and the ZR hat, the ones in the blue top, crooked teeth but who cares.
