I called RMX and they said they would try to have it done for me May 1st if I dropped it off that morning ..
I just requested April 31st off from work as well so I can make the haul to Longmont and drop it off early ...
Guess I should have taken this sled to them to have the work done in the first place instead of having the idiots in Casper and Heber do it.

....and if it helps you any - you could drop it off sooner and I can haul it from Xtreme to Kremmling that weekend - you'd need to get it the rest of the way.
That might help out... if I get a few days down time here from work (pretty busy right now) that I could make the drive to longmont and back to vernal so they could have time to work on it, I could also have them shim the clutch for a new belt and basically just go through the whole thing and fix what these other idiots screwed up.
If I get 2 days off in a row I don't have to be on location I may take you up on this, providing they're cool with me dropping it off early.
they should be fine - if not, I have a place I could store it until the trip up in a few weeks. I understand they just moved and trailer storage is a bit of an issue now. Let me know - I live all of about 5 miles from the old store and 10 from the new.

I just found out I have the 28th of April through the 4th of May off
I gotta long haul in June, but ah well, no snow then
Anyways I should be good ... I'll call RMX tomorrow and see if I can drop it off to them on the 28th. That should give them plenty of time to swap the head and check everything out for me ...
I'll probably just hang out at my cousin's and/or friend's house in Cheyenne and/or Denver for a day or two before heading back towards Rabbit Ears ...

Yeah bushy, it's been snowing every day up here. I hate to say it, but I'm about over the snow in town! (it can keep snowing up on the pass though!)

Anyone been to RE latley? How's the snow looking? Will it be there the end of this month?
I'm debating whether or not it's worth it to take the sled to RMX to finally get it fixed for one more ride and also have it ready to go for next year, or if I otta save my money and just deal with it later this fall.

Adam and myself talked a bit about this ride this weekend. Looks like I can work my schedule out so I could make it, but we gotta see if Adam could get off for it. If so I think we will be down.
