I can't wait till its done to see it finished. It is a clean build.

The color is sweet, it looks more red in the pics. But out in the sun, it looks more bright orange.

Hey guys here is tonights work.

mounted headlight assembly:

mounted new skinz bumper: (thanks napamatt)

mounted gas tank shroud

mounted Ski's

installed side panel vents

installed shock tower vents

Started mocking up the gauge plate and housing on highrise extension

Put new teather cord on to replace old key style

Almost done except for a few monir details that may take some time to complete. BUlk of sled is finished at this point in my mind. I will post pics of the guage cluster once i get it done.

HOW'D I DO SO FAR GUYS???? IT WAS A GREAT LEARNING EXPERIENCE!!!!

only guages i had laying around that i could use for mock up purposes. i still need to order the 3 guages that i am going to use when done.

Gauges look good, my only concern, is if you will be able to see them easily when boondocking. they look like they need to be tipped up more.

i agree justin, i plan on tipping them up a little more, had to get some aluminum plate that was thinner and now i have to recut the pipe holes for guages. hope to have them mocked up by end of week.then get them welded and powdercoated.

Did you decide not to run any vents in the hood? Just asking cuz I thought you said something about it....

I am glad the build is almost done, my basic membership is going to cut me off her shortly with as many posts are in this thread

still have the hood vent kit matt but havn't got it in yet. i got just a few small things to do before i am completly done other than motor work, but as far as i'm concerned i am done with the major stuff. hope to work on guages and hood vents this weekend but i have a cement job that needs done after work also this next week. so will have to see.

Haven't got anything major done on sled this week. But did get guage mount bracket water jetted today and sending it to powdercoating.
Decided to mount guages in center plastic above gas cap. 2 there and one on riser block.
Also have new style handlebar hooks being modified to work on older bars.
Got new bumper mounted last time, love it

Heres some more pictures of the sled outside late in the day. can't take guage parts to powdercoater until monday now. should have them done by next saturday.

going to take some more sunday when the sunny is out good, want to see if the orange color comes out better in pictures then.

finished bumper
added seat bag
need to powdercoat guage pod & gas tank holder
need to order black skinz skid plate and sell my white one stll

going to start cleaning motor of all oil and grease for trip to motor guy in 2 weeks. don't want him to have to waste time cleaning parts.

let me know what you guys think of almost final project (will post motor pics when i get it back)

awesom job dude. i love it. the only thing i would have done different is the tunnel,i would have made it black. But i love it. i got so many good ideas for my 670 turbo build. i will post pics and start a thread as soon as i can figure out how

sled finally goes to turbo guy on saturday to be done. Can't wait. sent a few more parts to powdercoater for this week, hope to have back on thursday night.

Nice build!! hope I had the money to send parts for powder coating!!

Only thing I would change is the white skid plate!! Come on man you need to put an orange or black one...and sell me the white one at a good price haha

man your too late. i already got the new black plate ordered and sold the old white one for $75 shipped last week to a guy. wish i knew you wanted one. as far as powdercoating goes, it's just money!!! doesn't it grow on trees??

took sled to turbo builder today, its like x-mas in july. 30 days and i should have it back. will post pics later.
