2008 M8 questions

Hey guys.... Kind of in the midst of doing things to the M8.... I rode it 4 times and put about 280 miles on it before the end of the season(got it end of March)

I bought an MBRP can for it yesterday, as the shop guy recommended it goes best with the speedwerx single pipe setup, and he suggested SLP is basically junk.

Reading somewhere in here, it says the M8, with SLP's deal, compared to stock, is night and day.
I ride from 5000 to 8000 most of the season, but dip below that most of the time going up and back down to the trucks.

Who uses the speedwerx and who has the SLP?
Ok without the box at those elevations?
Also, if the SLP seems to be the one to go with, would anyone be able to tell me if it will match up with the MBRP can I just paid 330 bucks for?(Cant check right now.)

I'm pretty sure the SLP will match up with the MBRP can but if it were me I would return the MBRP can and get the full SLP set-up. You can find the SLP pipe set-up for around $550 including the can. If your dealer is telling you that SLP is junk then I would go find a different dealer. You can like speedwerks, DD, Jaws or any other manfacturer better than SLP, but to say that SLP is junk is just kind of ignorant. Their pipe set-up works well at the altitude you're riding. It's Single best performance mod for the M8 imo. Good Luck!

LOL that's classic!!! SLP has a good set up it's all about what you like the most.
