A PC and tunnel mod will make as much difference or more. My stock 09 m1000 would beat my slp piped 07 m1000 when it came to tractoring over the top of a hill the 07 was faster but the 09 went farther with 25 less hp. The 09 was 15lbs lighter than the slp 07 as well. The 07 was the best running m1000 in our group beating out many 08's and the 09 runs well also.
