What is the Best set-up for a 2008 M8, Tuning and Fit I ride from 1500'-8500', Mostly 5000'-8500'

Speedwerx y-pipe,pipe or Speedwerx y-pipe,pipe,and can

SLP y-pipe,pipe and can

V-Force or Boyesen Rad Valves

SW pipe was 580
SW Y was 180
cerimic coating and bung on Y 60
SWcan 250
KoSo EGT 300
attitude fuel box , 250
V force reeds 250

= 1850 new price
sell ya the entire lot for 1100 shipped

it all works well together and i will even through in the weights for your clutch

this will give you 160 + HP and solid safe HP and Torque

i am riding a different sled this coming year so trying to sell the fast parts
you will need to buy nothing else to make you sled into a beast
 
Speedwerx makes great stuff, but with those elevation changes you're going to need to be real careful.

I'd look at SLP if you're looking for exhaust systems and if you want a head RKT is wicked.
 
From what I remember kelsey saying, the head works best with the stock pipe.

oh i dont know about the reeds , i had them already so put em on.
doubt they hurt, maybe better throttle responce of the bottom end

you will need to buy nothing else to make you sled into a beast

This is nothing but a single pipe setup and you are not going to see 160hp+. Not trying to start a fight but you are going to need a lot more than a single and some reeds to get 160+ out of the M8.

You can find the SLP single setup for $500 new, and if that's all you do then no fuel controller needed. Probably the most bang for your buck.
 
Bighoe is correct. You wont see or feel 160hp out of a single without porting and a high compression head with some fuel management.

My '08 nightfire runs great with the CPC Air intake, porting, High comp billet head, twin pipes and Attitude fuel box. I would say I'm pushing 165-170hp.

I would agree that is a 160hp+ sled.

I was just going to add a Pipe ,Reed's and a Timing Key

i do use it with an intake set up, but will be using that for another build

it feels pretty strong anyhow, if its not 160 its 155 + :P
if its stock 145ish , is it so much of a reach to get 10+ hp out of a single, with fuel control reeds,intake mod?
