I ran it on a 07 m1000, went 800miles and burned down. I think it was a combination of heavy powder and bad gas, just a little to lean to be hold the throttle down that long, but it ripped up til then. put it on my 09 and bought koso egts, never had a problem, and rips. the slp clutch setup is much better than AC but I think there is more to get out of clutching, maybe just need to add more motor mounts.
I learned the hard way($250.00 egt that would have saved me $1200), The only way I would recommend it is with egts, A/F gauges can be confusing sometimes but either way get something. I ran the egts on my 09 with stock pipe got some readings and then set it up to run the same with pipe.
