2008 M1000 Fuel Leak

I started up my M1000 for this first time this fall and after 30 seconds or so I noticed fuel running out of the bellypan. I immediately shut the sled off, and took the heat shield between the pipe and fuel rail off to try and locate the leak. This area was wet and appeared to be the location of the leak (no fuel was detected were the fuel line connects to the fuel tank). After letting all of the fuel evaporate, I restarted the sled to try and isolate the problem. Only now there was no indication of a leak. I repeated this process 3 times letting the sled idle for 30 seconds or so each time, and no leak.

Anyone else ever have this happen? Obviously, having fuel leaking is a major concern, and I'm not sure what to think of my sled "healing" itself. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks
