Hey guys found what I think is a good deal on a 2008 Dodge Cummins Mega Cab Laramie. Truck has 75,000 miles on it. Already has a turbo back exhaust with DPF delete, has programmer, and cold air intake. Just wondering before i buy this if there is anything that I should be checking or be worried about? Any advice you guys could give me on it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just wondering what the price is on it?? i just picked one up that is all stock and had 77,500 miles. asking price was $35,500 but he showed me $20,500 on trade for my '05 duramax LT with 166,000 miles. i thought it was a good deal but not sure. Any recommendations would also be helpful fuel mileage sucks compared to the Duramax!!!

They are asking 35,900 for it. The dealer let me take it out for a couple hours the other afternoon and i went for about 100 mile drive with it all highway and it showed 19.9 mpg when i got back to the dealer. So i would have to say doing the exhaust, a programmer, and air intake are worth the investment.

That seems to be pretty decent mileage even if the computer is a little off. I guess the only thing that would concern me a little would be the aftermarket add-ons and the remaining warranty the truck still has on it but if its a good dealer that will work with any problems you might have while still under warranty i'd say go for it. I love mine and can't wait to start improving the fuel mileage! Took it from eastern ND to Island park 2 weeks ago pulling an enclosed 29' trailer with 4 sleds, had the cruise set at 83 into a bad head wind and averaged about 9.5 i think. Pulls great and love the engine brake!

Almost $36,000 seems like a ton of money for a 4 year old truck with almost 80,000 miles! IMHO...you could get a brand new SLT for about a grand or two more....

Mega cab is a whole different deal though, plus the difference between leather seats and the cloth is big too from a comfort standpoint.

Ya i'm going in tomorrow morning i'm hoping i can get him down to that 33,000-34000 range. Have to wait and see

I just picked up an 07.5 3500 Laramie Quad Cab DRW with a Bradford flatbed and 180K miles for $19K from a dealer in WY.

It was a long drive to pick it up, but good sledding along the way...

I really like the flatbed vs a sled deck, with the exception that their is less storage.

Just picked up a 2007.5 6.7 Megacab Laramie DRW for ma. It had 75k on it and we got it for around $28,500.

Ya i ended up not trading for it. The dealer was looking at $13900 to trade. That means they were only giving me $22000 for my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn w/ 20000 miles. Needless to say the dealer wasn't too happy when i told him he could go f**k himself. So i'm still looking. If anyone knows of any trucks similar to that let me know.

Watch for engine hours too, not just miles. Turn the key to on, but not start...hold the odometer button in for a while and you'll get hours the the odo. display.
