2008 Arctic cat m6 gear down / top gear and bottom gear

NEED HELP, buying a 2008 arctic cat m6 with a project in mind. Plan to gear down a lot. I’d like to gear down to where I top out at 60-70. Looking to be thrown off every time I touch the throttle. I can’t find what the original gear ratio is neither how many teeth are on the top nor the bottom. Been looking and can’t find any templates nor the parts. Long story short need help finding a top and bottom gear and more than likely a chain. If yall know a place or know how much I should gear up or down the help would be appreciated.

Found a set 55/65, 2.65 ratio, How much of a difference would this made on the low end and what would be a good estimate for what I would top out at?
Top speed will also depend on your drivers & track lug height. My '10 M8, 8 tooth drivers, 2.6" Powerclaw will top out at ~70 mph, but it has 30+ more HP than the Suzuki 600! The Suzuki's by (great) design run a bit rich down low, increasing the timing really wakes the ZUKE up!

The 2008 M6 came with a 57-63

I've been wondering the same thing. Below is a spread sheet that I copied from Bikemans web page. I think you are right in your calculations. I was calculating the ratio the same way you were. 2.235 / (bottom gear/top gear). When I do that my numbers match up with what Wayne at Black Diamond gives me. I think there must be something in calculated ratio vs. Effective Ratio.

All you site sponsors who sell them should know the answer.
