Well we went out the other weekend and I made the mistake of letting the other half ride my 2012 PRO 163..........bad idea

Conditions were awesome 6-8' base with minimum of 1' of fresh ontop everywhere

She basically refused the rest of the day to ride her sled. 08 700 dragon 155.

which of course meant that I was riding it.... still had a great day but at the end of it I was convinced that the good old girl needed some upgrades.

So I have been slowly tracking down the parts on the wishlist.

2012 155 PRO rear skid------- done
fox float2's for up front-------- done
protapers and handguards ----done
PCV with Jim's maps -----------done
Some kind of better boards ---Still looking
Holtz Ez-Steer spindles --------- Got the second to last set on the shelves
Underhood google bag---------Still looking
MBRP can------------------------done

As far as everything goes its all pretty simple just thought I would start up a thread and detail the install of the PRO Skid and give some feedback on how it works.

Got any other things I should be adding?

Also I am looking for some ideas for shock setups front and rear.....she is about 150 ready to ride ( backpack helmet the works)

Forgot to mention

As the kit arrives I will update pictures and status. Still waiting on alot of stuff to hit the door.

I just installed the LCC boards. (lincoln county customs) The boards are sweet way easy to intall, just a little on the timely side. They go up the tunnel like 4 inches, and run from the seem in the rear of the stock board all the way down to the brace where your foot goes. Cost was good as well.(two color cost me 250.00plus tax) I had better boards and bent them. Ill try and post some pics tonight.

I have the same sled and am loving it over my last sled... Sounds like some great upgrades. I am wondering what the PCV is? I thought they were more for the 8's but what would they do for the 7? Another question, is it cost effective to do all these upgrades instead of buying her a pro?

Maybe some new clutching? New chain case cover?

As far as costs.

I picked up the sled for 4k earlier in the winter...... its got 2200km on it but other then that its perfect.

So I got along way to go before hitting the 10K+ tag of a new pro for her. Its only her second season riding so we will see if she still is liking it after riding the modded sled. If she is still excited to ride next year I am sure I would be able to get to the 5 - 5.5K mark on this sled when I wanna sell it if not more.

Should start building it up around the 20 of Jan.

I did the same skid upgrade to the same sled. Best upgrade for the money!

Let me know how those spindles work out. Ive always been curious about them
