2008 700 RMK bar riser question

I really need to get a taller bar riser on my sled. I believe the one that is installed was factor. It measures 5 1/8" overall length (not including the bar clamps), and 4 1/4" between the bar and pivot surfaces.

Does Polaris have a 6" version available? Any idea what the part number is? I like the clean look of the OEM unit and prefer it, but will go with aftermarket if forced.

im not sure on a 6inch but what i would do is talk to Rsi and have them set you up with some bars and risers

a 3 inch riser came on the 700 from the factory. the 800 came with a 5 inch. you can install the 5 inch without extending the cables. any longer you need extensions and a longer brake line

I have an 8" riser on mine with no extensions. Just need a little re-routing of the throttle cable and brake line.

To the OP...there are many different risers to choose from. Rox makes an adjustable riser so you can change it.

why would you go factory? they are more money for no reason. Go with a powermadd narrow for polaris. 6.5" Im running one, works great in the flats, im 6'1" i need taller in the hills and am going to a 8.5"

'cause I like the clean lines of the OEM piece? I fail to see why that is such a suprise.

Carl's Cycle said that the one I have was the longest riser made by Polaris, so....PowerMadd it is.

6.5" Powermadd riser fits perfectly. This one looks nicer than the one I installed on the wifes XLT a few years back. The extrusion is much slimmer.
