2007 D7 engine dies at higher rpm?

I have a 07 D7, run perfect the first 2X's out this year, but now as soon as the clutch begins to engage the engine loses all power and dies, but i can run it up to 5-6000 rpms in reverse, and put it back in drive and run it up to 5/6000rpms, let it idle down, and when i rev it up again it'll die...any ideas?
Thanks

Sounds like you will have to limit it down more to figure it out, but it sounds electrical to me. My 2007 D7 had a similar issue because I hooked my grip warmers back up to the wrong wire (same connectors and I was careless). Have you done anything electronic wise?

TPS issues are usually at idle and then work fine up to speed, so that doesn't seem likely.

Could also be something in the fuel control or voltage regulator, but that usually goes all together and doesn't pester for so long. Post more details if you can add anything.

i know its electrical, but not sure what? i've un pluggedthe kill switch unplugged the hand warmers, same result, but now it won't even start, it hardly getting any spark at all , so little that you can barely see spark when i turn the engine over, is this possibly caused by the voltage reg. or cdi?
Thanks

Probably voltage reg took out the ECU. More than likley you will have to replace both. If you have a buddy with a 700 or 800 you could swap and test it that way.

i'm allconfused here, i think i might take it intomorrow, but i put my cdi on it from another sled, , and it has spark & fuel, it just won't fire? any thoughts?

Can you check your fuel rail pressure as it dies? I wonder if your fuel filter is partially plugged up.

Anybody know what rpm your second set of injectors kick in at?

I had a Doo one time that started running bad. I noticed a dent in my tank. I thought I dented it with my knee until I went to put gas in it and it had a vacuum. My vent line was pinched off. Problem fixed, ran good after that.

its at the dealer now, i'm pretty sure its with the spark, cause the spark is really inconsistent, sometimes i get great spark, then 5 min. later no spark, i let ya know what the dealer says. thanks for all the help!!
