Went to start the sled last night and the recoil rope has almost frayed through! About two feet are hanging by threads. I pulled the rope out and tied it off.
How difficult is it to swap out the line? We had a 3ft dump this week and the dealer is a six hour drive.
Does anyone have any insight? I could just swap it out with climbing line right? I have heard horror stories of voodoo magic inside a recoil, springs flying everywhere!
