2007 800r ????????????????

What is with these motors. 2400 miles lost compression on one side. don't know if i should fix it or not I've heard alot of bad about this motor.Would like to buy a mod motor.But which one. Any body got any idea's-?????

Sounds like you may have lost a skirt on a piston very common on a doo if you rebuild with wiseco pistons it will last longer and have more power. RKT also has a good head and piston combo the works good too.

Fix it....great engines when done right! I would send it to Sled Head Racing (Big John on here), he knows what needs to be done to make them work and last.

Thanks paul...I offer an upgrade to the cases/crank to 2008 XP specs...plus cast 2 ring pistons...end result is a solid fresh motor for 1000's of miles...BJ
