2007 800r not charging

has anybody had an issue with the electrical system not charging on the 07 summit 800r. i am not to familiar with the system so any help would be appreciated. i only get battery voltage regardless of rpm..

I'll bet it is your relay. It is located above the clutch cover. They replaced mine under warranty and so far it has worked. Good luck.

i checked the relay and there is power going through it when the engine is running. any other suggestions??

This was my experience. I have the manual in pdf if you need. There is also a trick to get it to start with no power if you want bc, if the battery is dead there is no starting it. ie. pull both 20 amp fuses fire it up then put them back in and rpms should jump to normal. its a pita but it works.
