2006 Rev Summit X 800 Helpppp

Ok, so I bought a 2006 summit x last year with 400 miles on it. I have reoccurring problems that I thought someone might be able to help me out with.
The only mods I have done to the sled is put a can on it. I ride in Montana usually around 7000-8500 in elevation.

1) The bolts that hold the exhaust y pipe to the motor keep coming out. Its so annoying.

2) After I ride, stop (I let the rpm's come down) and shut it off I get one loud back fire like a gun being shot.

3) After riding I go to start the sled and it starts sometimes on the second pull most of the time on the 5-6 pull and my rpms are real low for a few a few seconds. So low the lights and beeper dont even flash and beep till i give it a little gas. Should I be thinking about changing out my needles and pilots?

4) The sled also seems to fowl plugs quite often. Usually during the start up sequence. If I dont get it started in the first few pulls, time to change the plugs.

Any advice is greatly appreciated on these topics are any other mods I can do to make the sled run better. Clutching, pipe, reed values......

Thanks

where was the sled at when you bought it, if you bought it out of a area that was lower elevation and now your riding at a higher elevation your jetted to rich, put high heat lock tight on threads and also they sell a crush washer for them also

I bought it locally, so I would assume it has high elevation jets in it. I have never looked though. I read somewhere that ski-doo was recommending upgrading the needs, pilots, and fuel map to the 07 seven version. Any thoughts.

As for the red lok-tite I have been thinking about using the red but I didnt want to go there yet. I have used the blue and green. Im about to though.

for the bolts on the y-pipe i used nordlock washers from fastenal, they work very well.

Not sure about anything else. I live a 2000' feet and ride my sled at 7-10000' and i do not rejet it at all. the dpm takes care of everything.

You need!

380 jets
17 pilots
Hps can
Nordlocks and locktite.
Drop one tooth in top gear.
Take out torsion bar, crank up front springs.
Set idle at 2500 rpms.
Hold the throttle open a little when starting.
Adjust the throttle oil cable correctly - see specs -
It will run like a rocket!
