2006 Polaris 600HO Switchback Sway Bar ?n's

Would removing the sway bar be beneficial on my sled? It has adjustable front springs and shocks. I read a few things about needing to add stiffer springs in the front if you remove the sway bar. I do more mountain and ditchbangin than trial riding. Only trails are getting to the good stuff in he mountains.

I also saw that ski-doo has quick release sway bars and was wondering if Polaris has an after market mod for that also.

Thanks

Aaron

Depends on the kind of riding you do. If you are on trails more than 50% of time, I would leave it in. If you are mountain riding more with a longer track ie 155, than remove it ONLY as long as the front shock springs are replaced with a 50 lb spring higher rate. They sway bar acts as an additional 50lb's. Removing it without a change to the spring shocks casues issues.

I personally like leaving the sway bar IN on the IQ chassis but if you could afford some better shocks and have them custom valved for your sled, you would see better handling.
