2006 900 track change

I'm going to be dropping weight from my 06 900 166 this fall. So I have picked up a timbersled suspension on 09 dragon 163 rails with an anti stab kit. I have a 162 power claw 2.25 that I'm going to be installing. I'm wondering what drivers I need? 7 or 8 tooth. Can someone please post a link so I know which ones to get.

Thanks
Mark

Anyone know what drivers I should order. Suspension will be here tomorrow and I'd like to get the drivers ordered...

if the power claw has 2.5 inch paddles you will need 3.0 pitch 7 tooth drivers

It's just the 2.25 but I'll order the 7 tooth just in case I want to go 2.6 in the future.
Thanks for the help Z-Man

You might want to add a set of anti stab wheels as well with that 3.0 pitch track

Ya good advice. The timbersled suspension I picked up has one on it. I just got it today after work. Everything looks good, but the aluminum rails need to be brightened up.

I have timbersled's on mine, drops a ton of weight off the 900's.

I've got two timbersled suspensions I'm going to sell. One with 159 rails. one no rails. I'm swapping the newest model timbersled in.

Take the time needed to center the track and drivers... well worth it.

.

I'm going to be doing the track and driver change. Is there any way to change drivers without a press or is it a must do to take the drive axle down to someone with access to a press?

Well I got the rear timbersled suspension and power claw installed yesterday. A big thanks to 94fordguy for all his help and ZMan and Mountainhorse for all their knowledge.

The Timbersled 163 polaris suspension dropped 22 lbs
The power claw dropped 5 since my 166 was ported (2 or 3 lbs lighter than stock)
The Avid drivers added 2 lbs but are anti ratchet and a super nice product.

So my 900 just dropped below 500 lbs dry. Next I'm going to work on shedding some weight from the front of the sled.
