2006 700 RMK Performance or lack there of

I am new to this but have read a bunch of these posts and hopes someone can give me some advise as to where to start. I have a 2006 700 RMK , it starts fine and runs good until it gets warmed up or a mile or two down the trail, then it misses and will start to back fire every now and then. Every once in a while the check eng. light will come on but it doesn't store a code ( whats the dealer told me, no code stored, I have had it in before for this same thing ) When it starts to act up it will max out at about 5700 to 6000 RPM. I have a freind that suggested it was the intake sensor as I have the factory intake on it. He said it is filling up with moisture so I check it after yesterdays "episode", intake was warm, no icing, no water or moisture to be found. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

possibly tps sensor lookin the stickys for the 900 forum there are instructions on how to check it. the wires on the tps are common for breaking also

X2.... have the same year sled, had the same problem. A wire was disconnected from the tps wire harness. Check into it.
