2005 RMK 900 Sensors

Hi,

I am new to the site. Have been reading the postings for a while.

Does anyone know what the resistance should be on the intake sensor and the exhaust sensor for a 2005 RMK 900. Called two dealers and they said it is not in the service manual. The check engine light has been flashing and I am having a hard time counting the blinking lights. My exhaust sensor has no resistance so I think it is bad. I checked the resistance on the intake sensor and the reading changed when I heated the sensor with a blow dryer. So I know it works just do not know if it has the right reistance.

I already changed a bad water temp sensor.

Also is there a way to reset the blinking light check engine light?

Thanks
Yone

Intake air sensor:
77f (25c) - 9.7 - 10.3 kΩ

Exhaust sensor:
2.3mΩ @ 392f (200c) - 76Ω @ 1652f (900c)
And a quote from the manual:
"This sensor is difficult to measure if temperature is below 392f (200c)"

Your blinking check engine light stops when the corresponding fault is corrected. If it is still flashing a code at you... there is an active fault.
To read the code, you just count the number of flashes between the longer pause.
