I am posting this for my 60 year old father. He purchased the sled for Jared Sessions at Polaris West two summers ago. The sled was wrecked making one of the Extreme Team video's. The Sled is pretty much brand new now. I'll list what has been done and what it has for parts.
2005 Carls Cycle 975 - Completely rebuilt in March of last year. Has less than 250 miles since rebuild. 17 to 1 head was replaced with a more reliable 14 to 1 head in addition to the rebuild.
Stock Polaris 166" tunnel/bulk head - Brand new from Polaris and installed in March of last year.
Steering frame - New in March of last year.
Polaris 166" track - Came with sled. Fully clipped and ported. In good shape.
Extrovert drivers - Came with sled.
Fabcraft a-arms and such - One came with the sled one was replaced last March.
Holz rear skid - Came with sled.
Fox Float front and rear shocks - Came with sled and hold air with no leaking problems.
Boss Seat - Came with sled.
SLP 2006 RMK 900 single pipe - New. Sled had twins on it when purchased.
Team TSS-04 light weight secondary - Came with sled.
Boondocker box and nitrous kit - Came with sled and features jets for 50/40/30 hp shots.
Avenger Race Pack - Came with sled.
All new plastic, skidplate, and hood. Hood is actually off of an FST for better cooling and looks really mean.
R&M side vent panels - came with sled.
The reason for selling is that he has a pretty much stock 2005 RMK 900 and this sled. At 60 years of age he loves the power but it is a handful for an older gentleman. He is actually going to try and get a 7 or 8 Dragon and get rid of the 900 and 975. The 975 still could use some tuning to run at top performance. Neither one of us is a tuner and the shop here in town has no clue on how to tune it. I would hate to try and figure how much he has into the sled getting it back to damn near new condition but I am sure he is well over $10k. He is asking $8000.00. We do have two pictures that were taken last weekend for those who are interested. Please email me at truss@theglobal.net or my father at truss_ron@theglobal.net if you are interested or if you would like us to email you pics.
