I don't understand, it runs great where I live 2400 feet elevation, but when I go to the mountains and ride around 8000-10000 feet it has a bog at 6000-6500 rpm's. I have already clead the rav valves checked all the hoses, just don't know what it could be. Maybe the computer, it run fine last year and most of this year just started doing it. Any help would be great!!

It has the TRA clutch should not have to change that, just the clickers and the dpem is supposed to take care of the jetting, like I said before never had this problem before it just started in mid-january.

Yes you do have to rejet and re clutch for that much of a change of elevation. What jets are you running now. Is your clutch stock?

Ok so

If I have to change these things why did it just start doing it, has not done it the last three years?

I think for optimum performance at any large elevation change, loosing fly weights is a must. It keeps your ramps in the clicker 3-4 range which your sled may run the best. If your DPM is working, you shouldn't have to reject. I think the DPM works from zero to 10,000 feet. However, since you have an 04, you probably have a few miles on it so I'd start looking for items that are wearing out.:face-icon-small-con Your statement about "it just started doing this" ... is a sign of things wearing out or need changing.

Check out the DPM
Clean out the carb - jets/needle
Check out the rollers and ramps on your primary for wear.
Check out the buttoms on both the primary and secondary for wear.
Check the springs in both clutches.

I'd start with the above first. If you still haven't found the culprit, I'd bet your engine may be suspect. Loosing poop!:(

thank you macattack

I will run through all of those things this weekend, have almost 2400 miles on it now but only 250 since I put a rod and pistons in it end of last year. Thanks for the info
