2003 summit 800 ho 144

can i put on a xp 146x16x2 1/4" track under that with a big wheel kit and not have to make any mod lengths .......anyone know the answer to this?

If I remember correctly the 03 had a 2" lug on it. The 2 1/4" may have some clearence issues. Also the 03 summit has a 2.52 driver pitch and the 146 is 2.86. You will probably have to change drivers. Length should not be a problem as the 146 actually only requires 1" more adjustment. Smaller drivers ( extroverts ) and a wheel kit and you should be good to go.

Sounds like a good summer project Al! Or are you thinking of doing the swap and hitting the snowies to try it out yet this year?? I say, DO IT!!!

thanks guys.......... diesel dog , have u been out to snowies yet? i been out 3 times.........martin luther king weekend was like mid april.....but a few weeks later they got hammered i was there for that one....it was fun..i own the 2003 summit with 144 on it i may just put a 16" track on it and call it good or even sell it ..i also have a 2003 renegade that is like new.....1100 miles on it i ride that when i go with this elder club member hes 75 years old been riding snowbobiles for 40 years been going to the snowies for 36 years (b 4 they had groomers , maps , trail sticks etc lol) and he is in good shape , just a good guy but he dont get off trail much so with the renegade its a lot of fun , its like a porsche on the snow , and its more stable we will ride 120 miles in a day lol........but i may sell that one i have a buyer just not sure if i want to sell it for the price (3500.00) if i do sell it im looking at a used 08 xp 154" so i dont know those are just the options that im looking at ........i do love my 144" makes u work makes u ride............
we should meet out there at least once this year and ride....\\
