2003 D&D 1010 Kit Silencer Can filling with snow?

I have a 2003 Mtn Cat 900 chassis, with a DD 1010 kit. When I go into deep powder and start carving through a lot of snow, my engine starts to really run rough. If i get in the open and have a good run to "clean" it out, it runs fine again. I have heard that the silencer can fills with snow and causes the engine to run crappy. If this in fact why it starts running bad, does anyone have any solutions, mods, retrofits, etc. that would solve this problem? Is there a kit to relocate the exhaust outlet to a place comparable to the new M-series chassis? ANY HELP PLEASE--THANKS!!!!

not real familair with this sled but most sleds have a guard in front of the exhaust that clears a path when in deep snow to keep it from restricting the exhaust.also some of the tail pipes on the afermarket cans are longer than the stock muffler. just some thoughts.

Commonly referred to as a powder bog. It's usually a combination your intake that's getting choked with snow and a bad exhaust outlet location. Do a search for powder bog here and you will see a ton of threads. Yes, you can relocate the exhaust outlet, though I am not familiar with the D@D silencer. I do know that SLP has a kit on the shelf. I personally have left the exhaust outlet in the stock position and fabbed a little bigger guard for it. Seal everything up, gut the airbox and run a snorkel through the dash, and jet it correctly. I hardly ever have a problem unless the snow is super, super fine.

Yeah do as the previous poster said, I have D&D twins as well (so none of the front dump kits out there will work). Mine came with the snorkel intake and I barely ever get the bog.
