ok, last year wifes sled kinda bit the dust.. i will attach some pictures. she now has a new sled, and at first we were thinking of fixing, and keeping the rmk as a spare sled, then we decided to maybe sell the thing.

Besides the blown motor sled is mint. anyways

i have it listed for 1000$ and just wanna get rid of the thing, so i can have more room in my shop.

However i came accross a 98 600 rmk liquid cooled motor for sale on craigslist for 500 bucks

how would this gel with a 2003? he is selling crank pistons and case..
carbs started coil is extra, which i dont need, so bonus

from my examination of the dead sled we have, one of the connecting rods thru a bearing where is attaches to the crank.... not sure if there is gonna be damage to the crank. top of the piston with the bad connecting rod bearing looks like rough grit sand paper.

was this from heat? any suggestions

should i maybe spend 500 bucks on that used motor and then maybe sell the sled for more?

thanks for the help guys

Greg

wow, its not real often that you see 600 carnage:face-icon-small-sho that thing looks really dry. did it run out of oil? did the oil pump fail? the POL 600 is a very reliable engine, if you do pick up the other engine just make sure you check out the rest of your sled

No worky... or at least not with LOTS of work. Your '03 is a small block, the 98 is a big block. LOTS of stuff different.

But if you watch the swap here and watch ebay you will find a 600 small block for under $1000 pretty easy.
