Hello, i am having problems with my 02 edge x 700 i recently rebuilt the motor and its not running right i need some advice. i have checked carbs coils clutches valves thermostats cdi box coil and tomorrow im gonna try diffrent reeds just to try something i need advice! thanks

and it wont get over 7200 rpms it should get to at least 8200

Is it a VES motor? Mine was doing the same thing and found the journals all plugged up that work the valves. Also check the diaphrams and gaskets for holes or leaks.
