2002 800 Summit Base Gasket Thickness?

Anyone know off the top of their head? I have what appears to be 3 different gaskets in the kit, a 24 thou, a 25 thou and a 32 thou. Anyone know what the stocker is (I'm assuming 25 thou - the one that came off is about 21 thou but I'm factoring in that is has been flattened a little) and can I use the 24 thou for higher comp.? anyone know what the additional compression would be with a 1 thou thinner base gasket? Can't imagine much, just curious. I know that a 0.1mm change in the base gasket thickness is only 0.53 cc combustion chamber change. One thou is pretty small on the mm scale.

Yes I know that dropping the cylinder will lower the exhaust port as well.

What are you guys using for thicknesses? Just curious

install and do a squish test. I was using the 6 dot with the Warga head for about 58 thou squish. If you want to run pump gas shoot for about 70 thou

Most 800s ive worked on had the 6 hole (.024) some guys do run the 5 hole (.020) .
