2001 summit 500fan idle problem?

ok, here goes.....I have a summit 500fan with hac with 400 miles. It was leaned out from 200/190 to 190/185 and needle dropped to middle position.

I rides very nice and is peppy and has great throttle response: low, mid, and top end.

idle/mix screw out 2-1/4 turns.
carbs open exactly the same time, and top out even.

Plugs look slightly damp at idle.
plugs look coffee color mid to full throttle and dry.

NOW THE PROBLEM! after it has warmed up and runs awhile the motor acts like it needs to have the idle screws turned up/in to get it to idle around 1600rpms. It gets rough idle and has even killed on me,starting can be sometimes a bugger requiring a few pulls compared to the one or two when its in my garage? I cannot turn idle screws in anymore when this happens they are in all the way.....any thoughts would be great thanks

Drop your pilot jet 1 size. I think stk is 70 so go to a 65. Also make sure your choke is adjusted properly at each carb and that they are clean. Set your needle to the center position. Also ensure fresh gas, these motors hate old gas.

I screwed up a bit. I checked my notes and I'm running a 60 pilot jet, screws 2 turns out, at 3100 ft where I live. 200 and 190 mains. Sorry for the screw up.
I changed the primary clutching as well for pulling the kids around in the fields and ditch riding around here, alot less zingy than the high altitude set up. I tried the low altitude kit that BRP says but it engaged too harsh for pulling the kids. I now have a purple green spring and 226 ramps, works very good for what I want, clickers are at 3.
