my old mans sled burned down the mag side last year and we figured out the jets were not what we were told so we got the right main jets and tuned new pistons rings and new cylinders. well this weeknd we were breaking it in exactly how the cat dealership told us to took it to elevation and let it warm up for 15 mins and brought it up to 3000 for 15 sec 20 sec let it go back to an idle and then up to 5000 and to 7000 for maybe 10 sec if that and the hunk stuck the mag side piston again solid tryin to save it maybe pulled the plugs "chocolate brown by the way"and put some oil in it broke it free but i could feel it in the clutch its not going anywhere did the old thumb compression test pto side tries to suck my thumb in mag side worthless......so were both out of ideas and suggestions welcome

I would start by checking to see if you have a cracked intake boot and then work your way to the crank seal behind the primary clutch.

Sorry to here about that.....

You should not have assumed it was a wrong size jet. A case leak of some sort would be far more likely. When we blow a belt, there is a chance we can damage a seal, or a base gasket, carb boot, impulse hose should be checked. Again sorry.

if the carb boots were cracked wouldnt be sucking air and leaning it out and give the spark plugs a white color?

Yes, but plug color is determined by the throttle position last used.

If you are tuning. You run at high speed then hit the kill switch and stop as fast as you can. Then check. If you idle for a while you'll be reading low speed jetting.
But you're right except you burned down, there is a cause.
I suppose your oil injection could be malfuntioning.

except it wasnt at an idle the POS died at 7000 rpm idk what to do with this thing my mom told my old man to part it out and but a new one haha

Lean jetting should have had the plugs pretty white to. Where they new plugs at the start of the ride?

Was the oil injection lines free on all air. Just wondering if maybe you had an air bubble in the line that ran it out of oil for just long enough to lock her up.

Did you burp/blead the coolant. Is there any det. to the piston or did it 4 corner seize. Did you check the piston to cylinder clearance. I have never heard of a break in like that. Everything I've ever been told about 2 stokes is holding them at one rpm is about the worst thing to do. I would bet the piston heated up to fast and more or less cold seized it.

i know it wasnt a cold seize it had been running for 15 minutes warming up for that exact reason didnt want to cold seize itand it was 30 degrees the exchangers were warm too so it was hot enough to open the thermostat
