I bought a 2001 800 Polaris It had a Turbo on it-I believe its TD05.How long is this turbo going last at 7 Lbs boost.Is this a CPI Kit?What turbo would work better in its place.Thanks!

That turbo will work just fine on that sled. You will have two main concerns. Oil pump and providing enough juice for the fuel pump and oil pump. If those two issues are taken care of.. you are set.
It could be a CPI kit or it could be something built at home. I would think the previous owner could tell you.
The Tdo5 will take way more than 7lbs. More than likely the waste gate actuator has a 8lb spring in it. You can run it up into the 20lb range without even phasing it. The nice thing is, if it goes down, you can purchase parts for it, and not have to buy an entire center section.
